The partnership will result in the ability for Fox-IT to offer and integrate TrustWorks Trusted Security Suite in combination with Fox's Expert Defender. Together the two solutions provide the ability for Fox to deliver strong user authentication, access control and data communication protection between any user and the highly sensitive information that is protected by Fox's own Expert Defender.

TrustWorks interoperation with Expert Defender will give local, remote or roaming users comprehensive security protection. Each TrustWorks client or gate agent integrates four (4) important security capabilities by providing: a distributed firewall at every protected node, a digital certificate monitor that manages strong user authentication and access control, an encrypted Internet connection that simultaneously supports multiple encryption algorithms and an integration agent that simplifies deployment and management of third-party security tools such as digital certificates, LDAP directories, authentication hardware and strong encryption algorithms.

Users will be able to use a single cryptographic token containing user credentials, personal security policies and Fox-IT Expert Encryption for both access to network resources and to locally encrypted hard disk data.

TrustWorks security management platform, Trusted Global Security Manager, will also allow Fox customers to centrally manage local, remote and roaming users, TrustWorks gateway security enforcement agents and Cisco IOS gateways and PIX firewalls from a unified interface.
