Bulletin: Inside door handle rattles

1998-2002 Chevrolet Camaro

A rattle or buzz from the inside of the door handle may be caused by the door look lever rubbing or vibrating against the inside door handle bezel. To repair the handle, follow these steps:

* Remove the inside door handle bezel.

* Apply a 10 mm x 30 mm (3/8-in. x 1 3/16-in) piece of flocking tape to the back of the door handle bezel.

Clean the surfaces of the door handle bezel before applying the tape. Leave a 1-- mm (1/16 in) gap between the edge of the tape and the door lock knob opening. Reinstall the inside door handle bezel.
