NSW: Three year old dies after being hit by 4WD

SYDNEY, Dec 18 AAP - A three-year-old boy who chased a dog onto the road and was hit by a
car in Sydney's west died in hospital late last night, police said today.

The Schofields boy ran after the dog onto Quakers Road, Quakers Hill, and was hit by a 4WD
at about 8pm last night.

He was immediately taken to Blacktown Hospital in a critical condition, but died a few
hours later.

Police were interviewing the driver.
