"I never envisaged coming here [to Celtic] would create suchhatred for myself or my persona as it has done. I don't know what itis that brings the worst out in people when it comes to myself.

"I had 14 years in England with a completely peaceful lifestyle.I could walk down the street without any hassle. It was a nice wayto live.

"I think there will be condemnation from all aspects in Scotland -at least I'd like to think so. Hopefully, all this rubbish can stop.It has nothing to do with football and we are all fed up with it.We're all fed up with the singing, fed up with the abuse and we justwant to do our jobs.

"I'd like to think that we've reached a tipping point."

"I will not be silenced by anybody out there with a bomb. Thesepeople are not football fans. They are just terrorists and thugs andcowards.

"This has been going on for some time, especially on theinternet, and I know the Crown have been looking at ways ofaddressing vile abuse on the internet. It's now spilling out on tothe streets, into actual violence, and the internet appears to be adriver for individuals to come together and spew their hatred andbile.

"People are being stabbed in a sectarian way in Glasgow, and, asa person who works in the High Court as a QC every day of the week,I see the result of sectarian crime."
