FED:Another asylum-seeker boat found

CANBERRA, Feb 26 AAP - A boat carrying more than 100 asylum seekers has been intercepted
off Australia's north-west.

Border Protection Command said the boat, carrying 102 passengers and three crew members,
was found north of the Ashmore Islands by the customs vessel Botany Bay on Saturday morning.

It was the sixth asylum-seeker vessel to arrive this year.

Home Affairs Minister Brendan O'Connor said the vessel was initially detected by a
Dash-8 surveillance aircraft.
